For a transformation to be a success it has to be embraced by the community it impacts. Facilitating that acceptance requires special skills and a plan of action to support the change initiative. OCM activities start at the beginning of the project with impact analysis, communications planning, and change plan development. This work is in conjunction with the overall project planning but is 100% focused on the customers of the project. This is a combination of psychology and training to guide the customers through the changes that the project will bring to them. In this way, there is no “day when life changes” but a complete understanding of their new environment before that day happens. OSP3 has performed change management on some of the most impactful projects in the world, affecting hundreds of thousands of people, yet allowing for a smooth transition for all involved.
